Louisiana press reports that Baton Rouge has confirmed an 87-year-old woman has died from listeria, possibly linked to cantaloupe.
Elaine Babcock died Saturday at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Her son told WAFB she was in poor health and confirmed she ate cantaloupe two weeks ago.
