The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Glatt’s Kosher Meat Products are warning the public not to consume certain Glatt’s brand Beef Frankfurters Jumbo BBQ out of fears that the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
According to CFIA the products were distributed in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. The particular products involved are:
Glatt’s brand Beef Frankfurters Jumbo BBQ, sold in 375 g packages bearing UPC 0 55627 00203 6 and a Best Before date of 12AL21.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
