 Officials say a second Texas resident who became ill from listeria linked to cantaloupes from a Colorado farm has died.

Texas Department of State Health Services spokeswoman Carrie Williams said Tuesday the two deaths are among 14 cases of listeria illnesses in Texas linked to the outbreak.

Both deaths were in a state health region

Florida officials are saying that a 70-year-old woman got ill after eating cantaloupes linked to an outbreak of listeria.
