         <description><![CDATA[<p>But sh*t does happen. Why can't people buy at their own risk? No one is forcing it down anyone's throat. I'd take my chances with a local family farmer long before I'd go with some government sanctioned factory farm. When there are no more small family dairies, all the milk that's left will have NO nutrients because they are cooked out. If that's what you want, fine, but why make laws against me getting the nutrients I want.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My wife and and I are about to move to Colorado (from Seattle), and one of the things we wondered about was whether it would be difficult to find raw milk there. Happily, there won't be a problem. (I accidentally typed "real milk" above, rather than "raw milk", and had to edit. I suppose that's how I've grown to think of  it since switching over.) I came across this article because the wife asked me to find out if raw milk is available in Vermont where she is from. When I told her the bad news, she said, "Just one more reason not to move back East."</p>]]></description>
